Electro acoustic semi-hollow of rarity says hello to the vintage seekers.
Piezo pickup under the bridge and mini-humbucker in neck position enables balance from full bucky to pure acoustic. The thin parallel sound holes between the pickup and the bridge are F holes equivalent.
This model was marketed and sold in Japan only so you may have not seen this very often. Ibanez advertised AE as brothers of AF(full hollow)/AM(small body)/AS(the very John Scofield).
