when i first sumbled upon this site i had a rude shock from the front pic....but slowly got used to it.

didnt want to say anything abt cos i thought the pic has some kind of sentimental value to the dude running soft.

but anyway, if i get rude shocks, go figure how many have been there too.

But people who are not familiar with this site, visiting it for the first time, may be led to believe that its some kiddie area for popular music discussion. But as we all know, there is alot more than that happening at soft. Besides, it gets kind of lame having to see that pic everytime i log in! It doesnt at all portray the idea or the purpose of this community.

Its misleading and homosexual. I bring forth no offence what so ever to the administrators or anyone involved running the site, theyre doing a FANTASTIC job, props. Just THAT pic. If there is a hidden idea or meaning of some kind being portrayed through it, of which i am unaware, please share! Otehrwise its nonsense.

they're just one click away to a great music forum.
if they're stumbled at the front page pic, and just stopped there,
then, it's truly their loss...

or, they click to go to the main page, and then they kept thinking about the front page pic, and are unhappy about it, then,,, they're missing the big picture. it's the content and the SOFTies that're more important.

I always type:

soft.com.sg/2006 to go straight to the main page.
the front page pic doesn't bother me at all...
anyway, that picture is good.

i mean, lets put it this way. even singapore invests so much in the airport and the road from the airport leading out to other parts of singapore. thats 'cos tourists coming to singapore for the first time will get this very good -first impression- right?

imho, both partees also have their points. Just looking from different direction. In a way, improvement going from left to right cud means standard going down from right to left and vice versa

Afterall, if i never pay to sustain anything, i shutup. Kinda like when i visit my friend new house and saw his wife at front door welcoming me, i dont think i wanna tell my friend that his wife shud stop standing at front door welcome the incoming guest for the house warming party coz she looks hideous. Afterall(again) i didnt pay my friend's wife to stand at the door to welcome guest.. :lol:

I use firefox, and have a bookmarked link that goes straight to soft home page.

erm dude...singapore relies on tourism for revenue..this site...mr james doesnt rely on this site for revenue..
