If I'm not wrong, Paul Gilbert usually uses only a Tubescreamer to boost the onboard distortion on his Laneys, it's connected at the effects loop.

for his 2 clinics he had here sometime back, he used the Ibanez TS9DX Tubescreamer and a Boss DD3 Digital Delay. he got the distortion from the Laney, and the TS9Dx is for boost during solos. I guess this info is applicable because the Korean clinic seem similar to the one in 2001-2002???

i think in the jam session for paul gilbert's clinic in korean.....he must have gone nuts with the people who kept giving him the feedback from his pgm when he told the audience before the jam session to turn the volume to 0 when the person's not playing and yet almost all of them kept giving him that and paul gilbert had to stop soloing and help them with it........
