Free running/ parkour heard of it?

anywhere possible.. you don't really need any special equips, other than shoes, and no special places like courts or fields. just use the environment around you.. rails,tables,chairs..

nononononono!!! thats not the real philosophy of le parkour.. what you're describing is FRPK or freestyle parkour, the competitive spin off of parkour made by power and money hungry guy.. i used to pk alot until i hurt my back(non-pk related). the real philosophy of parkour is moving through your environment with speed and fluidity.. i cant really give a good insight on pk but go to www.pksg-hq.tk or www.parkour.net for more info.

Paiseh paiseh. Haha, im not a philosophical person, so i'm just putting it in simple terms.

haha no prob.. alot of people have misconceptions about parkour.. deres an interview soon about pk airing on CNA.. 5th sept i tink..

hmmm... parkour seems quite popular here too ya? noe of a few friends doing it. but they usually do it in the dead of the night. i guess its illegal huh?

There was one Discovery Channel did a documentary on french guys who free ran. Now that was really awesome. Did anyone watch that?

yea that was great....some of the places they went too were simply breath taking

nah pk isnt illegal but pple and the police get misconceptions about what we are doing.. they think its kinda dangerous and dumb jumping and running around.. so its our responsibility to explain to them what we are doing..

hmmm.. i see. but it really take lotsa guts to do some of the stuff i've seem ppl doing.

as to the point of it being legal, i mean i u pk ard ppl's property wont u get charged for trespassing?

having guts is one thing, being clever is another.. we don't go around and saying " wow thats a 3 meter gap with a storey drop" and then doing it.. we have to come tho the point where we are ready to do things.. which takes alot of preparation and physical conditioning.. the stuffs that you see( maybe on Discovery) on jump london where Sebastien Foucan(the black guy) jumped 2 storeys down are seriously dangerous.. even the stuntmen wont do it.. it all boils down to practice and preparation.. reducing risks.. and for the question of trespassing, we dont go into landed property or places prohibited to us(i dont anyway) we usually go to multi storey carparks, any places with railings.. the newer estates seems to be chocked full with them..

I think lilrampage(a fellow softie) is one. not too sure tho. lol. i think its a cool sport tho. =) really flexible.
