if you enquire around, you'll find that some clubs offer a 50-50 profit sharing thing. if you come across the right one, then the minimum tickets to sell is 50 tickets at your own price. if lets say every gig you organise has about 6 to 8 bands, then each band only needa pull in about 5 to 10 people.
of course if this is not a pay to play gig then no fixed number of tickets to sell per band, but since this is a collaboration, each band should try to sell some tickets to defray their cost of performing, and best of all, the overal 50% profit made at the ned of the day can be split amongst the bands. if done right, in a gig with 5 bands, each band should recieve $50 at the end of the day if they sold 10 tickets priced at $10. since the coordinator is not an organiser per se as his band is performing, zero extra dollars goes to the organiser. ask around, of if you're really lazy, pm me and i'll tell you which club i'm refering to.
