Forming a band

Hey there, I'm a guitarist. I want to form a band, initially covering Fugazi/Joy Division/Dead Kennedys songs.

I enjoy jazz,delta blues,punk,industrial, grunge and many other genres, and I definitely wouldn't mind if we differed in taste. But we gotta start with covering those, and perhaps many other bands.

I like Joy Division
the band renamed themselves Joy Division in early 1978, borrowing their new name from the prostitution wing of a Nazi concentration camp mentioned in the 1955 novel House of Dolls.
