Yo i just bought a new egde 3 bridge guitar and when i dive or whammy ard
the spring will produce some springy noise... its kind of irritating, im wondering if the problem will last or its just because the guitar is new...
oh ya will the springy sound be amplified through the amplifier?

there trem claw where the springs are hook on, is supposed to be grounded. There shud be a black wire(or other colour) solder to the trem claw and connected to ground.

if done properly, anything thats grounded shud not induced any sound that will be amplified

if your amp has headphone out, connect it and listen thru earphone/headphone whether is there any amplified spring sound as what you heard before. As long as it doesnt get amplifed thru amp, there shud not be any worries.

or if it still doesnt work..the spring is still noisy..(not through the amp but on its own) den stuff a tube of some sort inside..will quieten down the thing quite a bit.

Replace the springs. =P

Are you sure it's the spring, and not the screws at the back of the headstock? I noticed on regular usage of my RG, those screws will loosen up and cause it to go out of tune, but it could be just my rg.
