Floyd rose bridge

hey guys . I have a Yamaha strat copy guitar. I wasn't too sure what the price is if i want to put a Floyd rose . How much ??

The price to put a Floyd Rose bridge is equivalent to a $300 plus guitar

I think the OFR itself costs around that price. You must also add in the cost of getting the body cavity shape adjusted for the OFR. Not at all economical if you ask me...

The floyd is a pain if you are stringing yourself, the tuning can cause string breakage, even if you're careful. For this kind of guitar I would go without it. Quite expensive to put on, plus yes you may need to have the body reshapen for it to fit.

Always get a guitar that either already has a floyd rose or a guitar that has the cavity but has a useless floyd on it.

Don't forget that you need to install locking nuts on the neck. If your guitar is pacifica 012 or 112 series, i don't think there's enough space for it.
