Floor Tom to Bass Drum Conversion

Yo, wondering if anybody in soft has done this?

I'm thinking of doing up a DIY solution, making my own lifter for a 16"x16" floor tom, so that we can have two set-ups in church. Either a 12" 13" 16" 22", or 12" 13" 16" for lower volume events.

I know Pearl has the JG-16 "Jungle Gig Adapter"

DW's 9909 Bass Drum/Percussion lifter is even cooler as you can even use it for something like a djembe.

i think the Pearl one is more reliable and less bulky. The DW seems like a rocket science thing!
