First song you learned on guitar

master of puppets on a classical guitar..haha.
I thought its a good way 2 practice since the fretboard is bigger and i got big hands..haha..well that was ages ago..

Blink 182, Adam song.

Lol. Same here bro. After that, I learn more songs by Blink-182. I can't remember why I started learning songs from Metallica like Fade to Black, Enter Sandman and Master of Puppets. Weird and sudden transition.

The first song I actually TRIED to learn was When The Children Cry by White Lion. At that time, I only knew how to form chords but no sense of rhythm and picking technique. So it was a bust. I had to be realistic and started from scratch. So the first OFFICIAL song that I learned was...El Condor Pasa by Simon & Garfunkel. :)

A couple of months after that, I could go back and tackle White Lion again...and a few months after that, Fade To Black, Hotel California, Stairway To Heaven, Tears In Heaven and....yep, More Than Words. KennethC, I hear ya!

After that, More Than Words was the only song people wanted to hear from me, so much so that I absolutely detest playing that song now! Now I know how Robert Plant and Jimmy Page feels when someone requests for Stairway. :p

Haha, i get what you mean man. I'm so sick of people wanting to hear me play sweet child o' mine i wish i can forget how to play that riff.

Dammit - Blink 182..

then my cousin and myself made different versions of that song..
and we were so proud of it..! haha

my very first song would be wonderwall by oasis, before i entered the world of plucking and stuff with here without you by three doors down.

Mine was Chapter Four - Avenged Sevenfold..

Learned full song but without solo...1 year later, tried the solo and figured out it was much easier than expected. hah ;)
