Hey all i dunno how many of you know this, or whehter someone has mentioned this before, but this has helped me quite alot and youtube loads faster now too.. haha, its for mozilla firefox only

firstly type about:config in the address bar in firefox, then filter for
network.http.pipelining, double click this to set it to true

do the same for network.http.proxy.pipelining

lastly Set the network.http.pipelining.maxrequests preference to a number between 1 and 8. This number is the maximum number of requests that Firefox may send out at any one time in a pipeline.

weird man, that made my loading slower..

I recommend it be set to the maximum
of 8 initially, then test working backwards from there. Step the value down
by one (first to 7, then to 6, and so on) each time you notice the page display
having problems, but for me i just put 8 lah, no problems so far.

basically the normal firefox will like just send one request for the page load, hence only like one loading lah, so now when u ask for more, it means more is requesting simultaneously, so it should be faster.. just like flashget if u use it. Hope that helped

eh mine was set to 30 before i did that... changed to 8.. not much diff i'll say 8O
