you can try using adobe after effects or premiere pro or final cut pro (for mac).

Avid Media Composer. Expensive system though. But IMO it's better to use than Final Cut Pro (FCP). But however, it's not as user friendly as FCP. Premiere Pro is the most user friendly among all. Of course not forgetting Sony Vegas.

You just need a non-linear interface where you can import videos into a track, that's it.
