lol it wasnt recorded in a studio! it was done on my friend's cumputer, cause he had garageband on his powerbook n allthatshit. COOL RIGHT? hahaha

Good vocals and it sounds like you've got good control over your voice but it sounds like you've chosen the wrong song. This song needs a warmer/bassier voice. You can certainly sing but I'd look into something different OR do this one differently cos there were parts where you sounded 'in' and others where you sounded thin - young-sounding.

umm it was a built-in microphone? the little hole in the computer. the finger snaps were my friend's cos i cant snap my fingers for nuts. we put it on a track that made it echo, so the finger snap now sounds much cooler!

Dudette, you've got to look for your sweet spot(s). Not every singer can sing every song the way the original was sung. More 'toning' on your side would be good to allow you to cover a wider range of songs.

But if I were you, I'd look into having more control over your preferred 'sound/voicing'. Seems like it's there, you just need to know what you want (again, it's already there) and then to work towards that end - more control for that 'sound/voicing'.

Guitarists call it "THAT TONE!". You have it, you just need to control (work towards it) THAT TONE over a wider range.
