Fender Strat Spare Bits & Pieces

I'm just wondering whether has anyone ordered from Fender or are there any other ways i can obtain original Fender Strat Replacement parts for example Pickguard screws, Knobs, tuner sets. etc etc. locally. Would be of great help.

Locally, you could try sweelee or Davis I think, or even guitar connection,

For some of the parts, it might be cheaper to get it on the ebay stores(brand new) rather than locally.

even though sweelee is the distributor for fender here, they don't seem to have any replacement parts which is wierd. cause i've asked a few times. not sure about davis or guitar connection though.

i've looked up some ebays but most of them hold Fender Squier parts and only a certain kinds.

I'm still contemplating on shipping from the US but not directly from Fender cause even they seem to have more difference replacement parts than Fender themselves.

I see, if you could settle with non- original fender parts, but fender-licensed parts such as ALLPARTS, guitar connection has them...

You could try Davis too,

I think ive seen original fender parts there before.

Try Guitar Gallery over at Parklane Mall I think, they carry Fender original bits and pieces. Not sure about ordering what they don't have in stock. Ask them about it.

Oh, fgl's suggestion of http://www.marshallparts.com/ is good as well...I've dealt with them before. But I think guitarpartsresource's shipping is cheaper if I'm not wrong...default is US$5.95 for international. They ship out pretty fast too

Guitar Connection has original Fender parts but not too many. most of them are ALLPARTS which are licensed by Fender. Original Fender parts are super expensive IMHO.

however if you are looking for vintage USA Fender parts, Guitar Connection is the place to go to .

Yup, I'd definitely think so too...but according to fin_13, he's looking for pickguard screws, knobs, tuner sets, etc...so these smaller items would be relatively cheap in terms of shipping :wink:

guitar connection has replacement screws and parts for alot alot of different guitars, fenders, gibsons, ibanez, hofner, whatever.

Im pretty damn sure you can get them new there.

for knobs they are about $8 or 9 dollars for a set. Good tuners about $80~
random parts like springs and pots are also available there!
