Recently bought a MIK Fender lite ash strat from Music Theme...
Tried it out loved it and all.
I noticed a price tag on the serial number area.i thought it was just no biggie just a price tag.
i went home i went to take out the price tag GUESS WHAT?
it was easily peeled off and the serial number came out with it!
i am so damn pissed at this lousy cover up by them
anyone know how i can fix this? i written down the serial number on a paper and i still have the damn price tag sticker with me what should i do?

Serial number in sticker form?
Hmmm...
First time i heard or encountered. I thought the usual process of serial numbers is printed under the laquer or finish.
Not too sure ya... Is that how they have their serial numbers on MIK fenders?
best to have it checked out bro... it does not sound too good.

I think what TS meant is Music Theme used a price tag to cover the serial number on the guitar... This is to prevent SL spies from acquiring the serial number and trace it back to where Music Theme gets its stock... And subsequently reporting it to Fender and having them penalize them... They do that to all their parallel imports...

Sorry to hear that, but I guess the serial number is printed on the finish of the guitar rather than having the finish seal it... Hence it pealing off along with the price tag...

Well okay, you know those stickers u find on ur food products like those snacks and stuff? that was pasted on the serial number itself, i took it off easily, and the number was on the sticky part of the price sticker. and there are still some black lil number spots on the serial number area. but wow wtf.
it was EASILY peeled off..there, my serial number is gone.
is there any way to reprint the serial number or get this fixed? i still have the serial number written and the price tag that has the serial numbers on it..
im worried that one day if i decide to sell it, it'll be difficult because there isnt a serial number to prove that it's an authentic MIK fender...

Nowadays made in korea oso have to prove authentic ah? Wahaha, first thing pop up in my mind when say made in korea is eeeee not wah real one or not.

It's actually quite a normal thing on MIK/MIC Fenders... Have a Tele lying around, I think the serial number's gone too...
