FENDER question.

It's actually quite nice to see ppl defend their preferred shops this strongly. Good to know that as a musician in Singapore, I am not exactly short changed with my options!

Having said that, I want to quote Oscar Wilde, "In all matters of opinion, our adversaries are insane." C'est la vie.

To the OP: peninsular shopping centre has plenty of guitar shops with enough Fenders on stock to keep you busy for a long while, whether each store front has 20? lol of that I'm not sure. if you're looking for a basic strat there are 4-5 shops on that basement alone where u can have your go and then deciding on what speaks to your musical needs and budget, you can be sure to have made a sound decision. if you are looking for something that is not readily available on the racks, ask the store owners if they'd be willing to bring in what you are looking for. otherwise there are local online spots you can check out such as www.orangeguitar.com and www.bgwguitars.com consider keeping an eye out on the soft classifieds as well, plenty of fender/fender types that come and go on this website as well.

Cheers and happy guitar shopping.

I noticed that despite all the advice given, not counting the flamings, the starter of this thread just disappeared without a trace or even a word of thanks. Which makes me wonder why he even needs more than 20 Fender guitars?

Cuz he wants to be able to browse thru the selection of a store that has a wide range of Fender products, One-stop Fender solution, duh.

Buying from Guitar Connection is the safest and most reliable because they sell and repair guitars.

tsk....................... my least preferred shop when I advise my friends for a repair of their guitar. ... bad experience but no need to discuss about that anymore.

i don't doubt their skills at guitar restoration and maintanence, but lets just say there's more to that when it comes to customer satisfaction/ experience. =)

nothing personal, but this seems to be a common thing amongst local services here. if i'm not wrong, singapore has the poorest ratings when it comes to customer service across the board compared to other countries. often, problem does not lie with the boss or the employer, but with the employees. at times, boss might just be in a bad mood day. good service one day bad service the next. it happens so maybe that's why people here remain puzzled as to why customer experience differs.
