Fender-Jap ST-50

Hi all, just wondering if anyone has any experience with the ST-50 or the ST-72? Cause I've short-listed this two for my next guitar.

I have had one for about 5 months and it sounds good through my marshall when you use it through a tube screamer it's quite mellow hasn't got that real crunch on it's own but if you use normal distortion you can get it to scream then but over all a nice guitar with that single coil sound you look for
