hey does anyone know where to get a fender '65 twin reverb here? or fender amps in general? thanks.

WOW 2K PLUS! how come so cheap! 8O hahaha i was expecting around 6-700(and that's ex already to me) lol but 2k is way out of the ball park man. but it sounds fab.

Go do some research first bro. Like, check the 2nd hand price of a Twin Reverb on ebay or something. And read Harmonycentral reviews. And google a bit here and there. 600-700 if i remember, is the 2nd hand rates. if you can find one here at that kind of price anyway.

Do some research.

if im not wrong, it is 2.3k, its a fender full tube, you're paying for quality, if you want top quality at arouhnd 800, might i reccomend the vox AC15?

if u want the fender sound of tubes.

Buy/sell got a pro junior going for somewhere around 650.

You get fender sound for the budget you're after.

And you won't blow up the whole neighbourhood.

vox AC15 huh? hmm thanks for all the feedback i really din expect the twin reverb to cost so much! haha. how's e vox ADVT15? more budget liao haha. boss has a pedal to model the '65 twin-verb amp it's called the FDR-1 or something like that.

Thats an emulation of the 65' Deluxe Reverb. You can get that pedal & try if you want. Tone wise not bad.

ah bro, its the vox ad15vt. aahha, but if you want to go hybrid i say get a 30. the ad30vt at least. at least to my ears it sounds way way way sweeter. you could wait for the citymusic sale and get it REAL cheap too. but yea as lightice said the fender pro junior. real good little thing. but not as soft as it looks. haha!

aiyah lame... i just checked they cant ship big brands... they can only ship these brands internationally:

Axman
Black Label
Digital Reference
DR Pro
Giardinelli
Livewire
Mitchell
Musician's Gear
Musician's Friend
Proline
Pulse
Roadrunner
Rogue
Silver Creek
Simmons
Sound Percussion
Sterling Audio
Williams

erm, musicians friend is US voltage, if it doesnt have a voltage switch, youre quite screwed. unless you love fuses blowing. try sourcing in singapore lah, saves the hassle. but for home prac, something the size of a twin reverb will get red and blue lights flashing quite often.

Wasabi bro, you really need to do more research bro. You don't sound like you know enough about tube amps and what are the concerns of getting one.

1. 240/120V. Check before buying.
2. Volume of the Twin Reverb. Yeah, it sounds great, are you using it to play at home though? It's loud even in a jam studio.
3. How much are you going to spend? Shipping and GST are tricky business. Don't forget about insurance either.
4. What other brands and products can serve similar needs? Hint: search Tube Amps on this forum.
5. What's involved in tube amps? Tube amps can sound good, they can also be a hassle to maintain in the long run.

It would be better for you to spend say 2 weeks to 1 month reading up online on various stuff on tube amps before considering a purchase. www.thegearpage.com, www.soft.com.sg, www.harmonycentral.com, www.ebay.com, www.google.com are all excellent places to look for information. Just be patient, don't ask too much in the forums, search and read a lot. Build up a small list of questions you're not familiar with and ask on TheGearPage - Guitar Amps forum.

thor basically listed everything already. tube amps always make people drool buckets. but theres a price to pay for quality. not to mention the maintenence and blown tubes.
