Nice! I think this is priced reasonably for a 91. I would buy this if i still had the GAS for a 52. Looks clean and well kept for a 91.

I do not think it's justifiable to compare prices with ebay. Please take into consideration for the extras you will be paying for shipping, insurance, taxes, foreign currency exchange rates, paypal / bank conversation rates and not forgetting the risks involved when you buy overseas.

Good luck with your sales @pedal-itis

do not take it too personally...
this is great guitar and it looks in great conditions
but when you put something on the market, you need to consider the market
I have bought many (boutique or vintage) guitars in Singapore, new and second hand, and when I bought something second hand the price was competitive with respect to Ebay, or what I can buy when I travel to EU to the USA...the risks come more when you buy here as many assume that you cannot find good second hand guitars for a reasonable price...and people buy anything and at any price.
I am just saying, before buying something check the prices in the market...

[anyway this a really great guitar: I have one myself]

Hey @enrico,

nothing taken personally. You'll be surprised how long i've been buying a selling here in SG (and how many since 2004 with hub4thailand). I would disagree with this line though,

"the risks come more when you buy here as many assume that you cannot find good second hand guitars for a reasonable price...and people buy anything and at any price. "

Singaporeans are very savvy to the gear. I think everyone is allowed their own reference points though, especially with the array of options today. I personally use Reverb and the prices for the 52's below 94' 93' is about $1400USD, before shipping. Surprised if that varies too much from Ebay but i would not know as it was not a point of reference for me.

I consider the market, and many of my sales i feel i post them up at reasonable prices. Open to neg of course, but i will not price it low to suit the buyers market. I will post it fairly to the instrument.

Anyways thanks for the advice, i shall take it into consideration. Have a great week.

@enrico, No offense taken.
It's really all about supply and demand and how much the seller wishes to list their selling price. It's really their prerogative.

I have my fair share of buying guitar overseas and frankly i feel that buying locally is always the safer bet if you know what you are looking for. Even at slightly inflated prices.

I can go on with a long post on why one should refrain from purchasing guitars from Ebay and should never use their prices as a comparison with local prices and i think that would be highly necessary. In a nutshell, They are very different markets with their pros and cons.

Peace!
:D
