feedback

..

constant communication, both parties must talk about current relationship. it's not just 'me' in a relationship. only then things will work out.

What a great feedback

Try getting near to your amp with the pickup facing the amp. I think.

I only know how to do with mics.

There're no guitar stickies regarding feedback...

I can't get feedback either...my sustaining notes sometimes get cut off by my zoom for no reason...

it's not for no reason. some fx have feedback reduction factors.

and most effects suck away the possibility of feedback.

why do you need constant feedback?!? please don't screw up and make the crowd go deaf.

Lol, maybe the threadstarter needs it but I just want like 4-5 seconds of it...

somone told me here that there is a feedback pedal, by boss i think... the most conventional way though, up the gain and slam ur guitar at the amp

i've learnt from randolf, to get amazing feed back without too much volume, all u gotta do is run ur signal through many gain pedals...

for him it was the blues breaker, od and ds-1 i think...

3 of them on at the same time, hard not to get feed back...

edit: yeah like what thor666 does...

Hmm.

you can get feedback by sustaining a harmonic note, then with help from a gain pedal or two get closer to the amp and shift about slightly.. the note will generate feedback esp if ur volume is at about the 40-50% level.

what I normally do is I have my 1st OD turned on, and I have the gain at 60%, and volume at about 30% at my amp.

I strike a note, and I activate the volume function on my wah pedal, and then I just rock the pedal forwards and at a certain sweet spot I can just rock it back and forth ever so slightly to achieve diff feedback sounds.

the problem is the Zoom ....
is either you go analog or give up guitar and play the sitar :D ...lots of feedback on that one

Are you kidding? That's the one cutting out my sustaining notes...and it's very hard to get feedback from it compared to when I was playing without any pedals...

Feedback can be controlled to a certain extent...and it doesn't need disasterously high volumes to happen... though, high volume helps.

I can get my guitar to feedback running thru my computer speakers. :D

All about positioning I say, all about positioning. And some gain. And playing the right notes.

It takes a while for the feedback to loop. You need to work with your equipment to an extent to get a feel of the way it works.

Or can use the wah pedal + OD/Dist, I find that at certain positions of the wah, can get feedback more easily.
