eh i got a fat finger ah.. not those tiny and long ones .. when i press chord and pluck.. sure will be mute sound either on the string.. how to correct this ah?
I don't think there's any specific way to solve this. What i do know is that, with time and practice, you will naturally find a way to overcome it. Well, Malmsteen, SRV and Clapton have fat fingers, and they really play incredibly. Just a matter of time before you get it right
gdness.....kerry king has fat finger......his finger is huge and still he give us cool riff and best of all the guitar his using is not even a jumbo neck............don hinder a fat finger as a disadvantage but instead treat it as an obstacle which lead to self improvement....course i got fat finger too
aiya, starting is like that one...though i cant say i have fat fingers, when i started playing guitar(even up to a year), i faced the problem every now and then of fingers kena-ing other strings that they arent meant to touch. Just keep practicing, you'll be playing fine in no time!
haha death, mine too. imho, long and skinny fingers are good at some things, like stretching and playing gay chords which other pple cant, but they just might get entangled XD
Well, from the vids their hands are really that big, and it almost seems like they won't be able to chord or play properly without hitting adjacent strings, but they pulled it off so yea
hey man......slash also has fat fingers........you don't see him being stiff with his legatos and vibratos.....it's an added plus to have fat fingers you don't have to worry about the lack of strength for me i got long and thin which really sometimes makes string bending on heavy gauges tough......for you you can get the tone and both the skill at the same time........but i'm sure all comes from practise which as time goes by you will overcome
if you're talking abt their hands, then maybe but clapton and SRV's fingers are way too thin and long man. lol. but whatever it is, the most important thing is that they're good.
