Same here.....Tetsu was the one who made me want to play bass.
In fact, it was his ESP Bass IV that made me want to play Fender Jazz Basses, cos they looked similar.
He's also the reason why my main bass is a RED Fender Jazz Bass, with lots of stickers.... :lol:
Now, if only I could play like him.

i'm just generally a fan of jrock and their basslines. judy & mary. Casiopea & T-square.
there are also many other bassists whose names are not found in english because they session, especially those that make it to anime songs, songs like (from the anime BLEACH) Houki Boshi, Ichirin No Hana, LIFE (from the anime Otome Wa Boku Ni Koishiteru) Love Power by Aice5 (from the anime Busou Renkin) Hoshi Akari, Makka na Chikkai (from the anime Rurouni Kenshin) Sobakasu by Judy&Mary, 4th Avenue Cafe by Larc-en-ciel, Heart of the Sword by T.M. Revolution, 1/3 No Junjou na Kanjou by Siam Shade, (from School Rumble 1/2) opening song (can't rmb title) for 1st season, Sentimental Generation sung by Ami Tokito.

then learn how to tab songs yourself. it's not easy to write tabs unless u're trained in score writing (pure TABS are BAD because they do not give u TIMING which is ESSENTIAL for bass playing)
just listen to a line. and try to play it. find the starting note. find the next note.
practice - work hard - u'll get there. if u give up then GIVE UP, don't ask for tabs lol. HOWEVER, u might wanna try CHORD CHARTS if u need help finding the root notes. i use chord charts most of the time XD
