i went to Beijing for attachment recently and i was walking around their guitar districts when i came across this shop selling Gibsons.. First thing i told my friend was 'FAKE ONE!' so we walked in and started looking around. the prices are really low. The man asked if i wanted to try and so i did and next thing you know i walked out with a les paul standard.. =X

well but thats beside the point, here is a site where it shows consumers how to spot counterfeit Gibsons.

It is frequently updated and its has really alot of good to know info on it. I guess if we all learn to spot them, we will greatly reduce the risk of being cheated.

yeah very comfortable and the pick ups sounds very similar to the pafs on the real deals unlike the epiphone ones which sounds thinner. but one thing is that some of the frets are kinda bad, chokes out etc etc...
