ROTTEN RAMONE!!!! how come u meet him? wad other greats did u see??? wad is that place too?!

.

heheh

i was in london for a business trip last may when i read that there was a london guitar show at wembley.

being a gear whore that i am, i just popped right over there. it's like comex or sitex with guitars and basses. they had tons and tons of freebies, keychains, free guitar strings etc... which i gave away to my friends. :)

the marshall section was HUGE!! they had a wall full of cabs to demarcate their exhibition site. plus they gave away the best freebies! nice thick catalogue, a plastic bag which looks like an amp head, and a couple of keychains. the old man next to nicko is jim marshall, inventor and founder of marshall amplification. the posters they signed were him and nicko endorsing drumkits!! i gave my copy to my drummer.

i have more pics of fender, PRS and other retailers.

They should have one in singapore, so that kids like me get to see faces of famous musicians, and also get free stuff. Heh, strings r expensive man.

wah... once in my life i must go for like one of those NAMM shows...or crazy guitar gear exhibitions... awesome ...

I bought one of my pedals off this guy (40+ yr old doode) b4. He was telling that he goes NAMM every year!!!! Of course, he uses stuff (I quote him: "I'm not sure if you heard of") Jim Tylers, Mark Anderson guitars and VHT and some Rocktron(?) amps and he uses all racks...

My calculus was pretty okay. After he told me the list, I reckon there's ard more than 30k worth of guitar equipment in his house. Which is really inspiring for a robbery or break-in... hehehe.

I asked what he does for a living.

"Aerospace engineer."

But of course...

hmm looks like its true...hope Subversion can drop by here to verify it.

Haha wonder what it feels like to go onstage with a moldy green guitar.
