F-Spaced pickup

Hi all

I ordered a bridge humbucker from the US, requesting it to be F-Spaced since I wanted it to be put in my Strat bridge position. But I have decided to switch my Strat's pickup config to traditional SSS and was thinking of putting the humbucker that I ordered into my Rally Les Paul copy. It was too late to switch back to standard spacing sized as the F-Space pickup was already made and its on the way here. My concern is, will a F-Space pickup be compatible in my LP? I think the pole pieces won't match well with the strings..

yes, it'll still work. a friend of mine put an f-spaced pup in his les paul, and was surprised to find out it lined up better. alot of answers here: http://www.seymourduncan.com/forum/showthread.php?t=168935

alignment anomalies doesn't render the pickup useless- there will definitely still be sound
