expression pedal mod

if wanna diy, heres a crude way to do the mod. Open up the thing, check out the number of wires soldered to the pot of that particular parameter that you wanna exp pedal controlled
desoldered that couple of wires going to the pot, solder to a stereo 1/4' phone jack(tip as signal send and ring as signal return, sleeve to ground).
Use a stereo cable for conection between the effect and the exp pedal.
The above works for me when trying to zhng EH pulsar trem to control the rate via expression pedal.
From what i know, a pot will always have connection from the wires as signal going in and coming out from it. So if you reroute the signal by connecting to a stereo jack and sending the signal to the pot inside the expression pedal and routing it back to the stereo jack, its pretty much the same as having the pot inside the effect pedal. Only thing added is a longer path for the signal flow to go to where its supposed to go to.
