For those who regularly purchase guitar from overseas, im wondering whats the current exchange rate of 1USD to Sing dollar now. Anyone can tell it to me now? Im unsure if the exchage rates i found on the websites of internet is accurate.

Im interested in purchasing a guitar in US online. But the seller doesnt accept paypal. So how do i go on with the mode of payment? And so i would concur that the exchage rate is going to be 1.38? Is my posb savings account able to do the online payment?

You can't transfer to an overseas account through POSB. In your case, credit card payment is the only way. Credit card charges apply. Or you can check with the seller which mode of payment does he accept.

Google search: "usd to sgd" is mostly accurate, especially for PayPal. You may be able to deposit funds from a DBS/POSB account to PayPal. If not, sign up for a POSB Debit Card.

Yeah I heard it's possible to transfer funds from your POSB to your Paypal account.
Too bad the seller doesn't accept Paypal, but he should lah.

I think credit card payment is the only way.
