i am inspired ... greatly . bro good job , you must have real steady hands man the paint job look really even . Is it nice to the touch ? Like a nitro kinda feel ?
thanx again dude, well although i used 7 cans of clear i was still not able to completely even out the paint, so u can feel the little steps because of the thick red coat... but i like the feel cause i think tt it just adds another dimension to it..

Did you refer to any websites when doing the masking and painting, or did you just go by 'feel'? Would love to find out more on how you did it, maybe its time for me to break out the spray cans also!

thanx dude! well i surfed the internet and found some pics of the original EVH Replica (Front and Back) and kinda just tried to figure out the masking one at a time.. but i did add additional masking to make it alittle diff and also i didn't go through with the strip of white that runs all the way around along the sides of the guitar cause i couldn't figure out how to pull that out hahaha....but for areas like the section behind the tremelo where theres the cool tear away design i'd reckon it's best to just tear the tape free hand...i thought i was gonna screw it up by doing tt but it turned out quite nice i think hahaha'
but bro u could look at the pics of my masking over the black coat as a reference yea=) but i think it'll be nice if u'd be able to sneak in alittle of your own style in tt'll b cool hahaha', sorry i didn't take the pictures of the masking before the red layer but tt one would not be as hard to figure out as the masking over the black one... btw the Jem above is pretty damn sweet
