thank you all for coming down! the RSVP number was 53 of the latest count on that night! the atmosphere was great and most of all, u guys had fun which is the most important =) good to have like-minded music lovers and musicians network with one another during this sharing session

Hi all!
I am really happy and glad that many of you came down for the previous SG Musicians Meetup session 2 weeks ago. The turnout was overwhelming with 43 RSVP and 53 in actual who turn up! Thanks =) It was fun having the music community interact, make new friends and share your passion. If you had performed that day and would like me to send your individual video, just email reply me your name/band registered that day. I will send it to you!
The winning performance that night goes to Mixikyr FX, he performed his magnificent beatboxing for us that night. I will be contacting you shortly through phone.
As mentioned that night, there were pubs and restaurants (4 in total) looking for:
1.) Chinese Pop group,
2.) Thai band,
3.) Mexican band,
4.) Indonesia Bahasa musicians
to perform on Fridays and Saturdays (monthly contractual basis) from 7.00pm-11.00pm.

There's this Music Camp which a group of us volunteers are organising. The event is free-of-charge and is open to musicians and music lovers. We will be covering topics on music industry itself and many other music-related topics (e.g. creating music on iPhones or how to market yourself as a musician etc). As part of the music community here in Singapore, do kindly help spread the word! You can find out more of this event details here:

We will be holding this next SG musicians meetup end of this month. This time round, it will be a full band set including drums, keyboard and a nice cosy private space! Here's the schedule of what we are gonna do:
1.00pm - 1.15pm
* Registration to play is on a first come first serve basis. You must register on the spot
* This is free, no charges involved
1.15pm - 2.00pm
* Say "Hello!" to one another. Mingling session, get to know each other on the ground and make friends. You can interact and possibly even find like-minded music friends to jam together. Time to socialise!
2.00pm - 4.00pm
* Music sharing session time. Each group or individual will be allowed to perform 2-3 songs in this first round.
* Here are some special incentives for those who wish to perform:
o
+ I will encourage you to dress well if you like us to help you take a video. It will be a free portfolio for your future usage to showcase for other events or performance opportunities.
+ As a talent scout for music performers, you will be featured in this NEW segment under "Featured Musician" on http://www.expressinmusic.com/home/musicianprofile.aspx. You will get the chance to be marketed for opportunities in the music event gig arena.
4.00pm - 4.45pm
* During this timeslot, we will also like to encourage a merge of friendship among the attendees. Jam together on stage, perform with strangers (after that you will be friends). This could be really interesting!
If you have your own EP or CD or original songs to market, feel free to share! It is a simple gathering for musicians and music lovers to network with one another through music.
Come on down and play, share your music!
