Ever Wondered Where The Peace Sign Comes From?

That's pretty much rubbish, lol. Any boy scout can tell you it comes from the semaphoric symbols for the initials of Nuclear Disarmament, N&D. N is the flags pointed down in a upside-down V, and D is one flag straight up and one flag straight down in a straight line. Put them together and you get that symbol.

I have long given up watching these conspiracy theorist video. Most of the conclusions that they made are based on skewed perspectives of "facts".

They are more like tabloids than documentaries.

It came about when War happens...

And those Japanese chicks popularize it further with their "kawaii-style" photos...Gosh..lol

Just my 5 Yens ;)

This was not the case some years ago. There were prominent figures who undertook professional, academic research to bring up some of the stronger theories. Only recently, probably post-2004, did the media exploit this love of conspiracies. Now anyone can make a home video and release a "documentary". We have to adapt to this growth by taking in everything and applying a different filter.

There is a little bit of fact in this one. The peace symbol, rotated 180 degrees (inverted, or upright depending on which point you're looking from), looks similar to the runic Z or X alphabet/glyph from the Elder Futhark family and derivatives. This alphabet, "Algiz", is a significant symbol in many Pagan cultures/religions. Whether it means something good or bad, though, I don't know.
