ESP explorer

hi fellow guitarists..

i wanna noe if esp still makes those esp explorers which james hetfield; from metallica, uses..erm the 1 in white..can be seen if the video titled ONE.
oh yea..nt interested in the new EX series..

The explorers james use are ESP MX series and only be custom ordered and costs a bomb, they go used for about US$2k++ at ebay. Look for "katana guitars" there, he sells em. There's also the EXP (also a custom shop axe) variant which has a bolt on instead of a set neck and just a tad cheaper.

Or, if you dont mind a non ESP axe, browse thru the ESP Edwards site at espguitars japan and you'll see a natural finish explorer.

hey..i notice james is using a ken lawrence explorer now..is that under the esp custom shop 2?? if yes, i could file an order form from davis right??

Ken Lawrence is not the same as ESP. Their built is excellent and the tone is sweet. The price however is very steep. If you want an ESP, I'd say go for the real thing (If you have the $$$ of course).

yea..i love the tone of the ken lawrence explorer
by the way nitrobro, u gt a nice ltd ex. but im really dont like the design..no offence.. would really like 2 get my hands on the original explorer. and yeah thx for the info again nitrobro..mayb i will check hetfield's explorer, out at davis diz weekend.
