ESP and LTD - So what really IS the difference?

ESP and LTD.

The LTD Michael Padge signature model has almost the same specs with the ESP model.

However, the LTD costs 1000 while the ESP costs 4000.

What are the main reasons for this?

Quality of wood? Craftsmanship?

Please share your views and state if LTD is worth the money! Or just second grade.

Ltd are made in korea while ESP in from japan.

different level of workmanship.

The place its made of coz counts. Like the way i dont think a gibson would be made in china. only an epiphone.

those are for the lower end LTDs.the EC1000 series are made in Korea.

its more than that, basically every component of ltd or even epiphone are made of cheaper stuff. it can be the wood or it can be the metal components or even the wiring. they just use cheaper stuff. also every esp or gibson is hand made, every epiphone or ltd is mass produced

gibson is some how mass produced.comparison between the ESP eclipse and LTD ec series is the hardware,the origin and the QC.
