holy mama !

Dargin informed me that there are actually 12 new models for July...... These are new models not features or colors....if you did the math it is probably 3000 new and different ways to drive us crazy

WOOOT !

if i were Ernie Ball, i'd be worried sick since my competitors like the Ibanez bandit among others, (no offence, i'm a huge Ibanez fan) who reproduced my stingray-type tone for less $$$$.

in fact, the Ibanez people have manifested more tone-related ideas in their wares & it's about time EB unleash some new stuff...

brother sub ... hmmz if these models are released where can we get em ? davis or sinamex ?

Davis is currently with the SUB series, i have no idea if they are gonna bring in these new stuff, even the visually challenging Bongo bass won't debut there anytime soon...

individual preferences... some people find the ernie ball headstock repulsive, especially the 3+1 tuner combo. but we learn to ignore looks & value tone/ playability along the way, don't we?

IMO the SRX is just a humbucking Soundgear model, one of the better designed ones out there.

Hi, sorry a little off topic but i was wondering if davis stocks the OLP sting ray basses. I'm thinking of getting a black one with a maple fretboard. if anyone knows the price pls let me know.

back to the topic, though ibanez may have the models that can help reproduce the tone of the ernie ball models, one common problem that plagues alot of musicians is the attachment to brands. its like the holy grail or something to own a musicman sting ray and even though some other bass by some other brand may do the job they are still not that keen. just my opinion. heck i think i suffer from that syndrome too. lol

bro- both the 4/ 5string OLP Stingray copies are available @ Davis. i can't remember the exact price but they aren't even $450 8) i really dig the maple fretboard...
