Rio Ferdinand is a joke. I believe that other than Cananovarro, Rio Ferdinand is the world's most expensive defender - and hs been for many years. Looking at him run with the football gives me a headache - it's scary to watch as a Man U fan and laughable to watch as a footballing fan. If Man U didn't pay that much for him, he would have been butt-slammed out of Old Tradford in his pajamas - that's how he dresses when he reports for work!

rio is totally useless. did u guys hear, a while back. west ham defender was told he has no future there, the ferdinard brothers. sigh.
back when their cousin les was a pretty good striker.
 
I'm not sure why you guys are blaming Ferdinand for that own goal. Ferdinand was undoubtedly gonna be first to the ball. The question should be why was Van Der Sar so desperate to run out of his line? Had he stayed, Ferdinand would have backpassed to Van Der Sar who would then proceed to whack the ball out of the box.
 
df, bro, you are right, both are at fault. But Rio Ferdinand is far from being the world's most expensive defender - and yet he is. He is a joke. Van der Sar wasn't too far off but he'll be gone by next season. But Rio !?!?!? As long as Phugyouson is there, because Phugyouson paid too much for this average defender, you can count on these sort of issues to crop up.

With Vidic, Ferdinand will look like a more than average defender, but even without Vidic, Ferdinand still is a more than average defender...but not the best.

Van Der Sar gone by next season? Unless he retires, that is...if not, I still see him as United's no.1 custodian.
 
If Manu U doesn't win either the CL or the EPL, then I am quite certain that Van der Sar will be a second stringer next season - or at least after the first two months - cut me some slack lah bro. Mn U's manager hasn't been there that long without being a successful witch/scape-goat hunter - he knows how to keep the reporters busy.

Nine out of ten mnages get the sack.

RoRK: Haha. If Sir Alex does blame Van Der Sar, we would see a repercussion of it in the next match...

But I don't understand Van Der Sar's palming thing...Pompey's first goal was almost identical to Roma's second goal...he sure needs to work on his technique...

chelsea closing the gap to 3 pts with man u...
n the fight for 3rd n 4th plc r stil quite open as well....

in the cl,although pool has gt 1 foot in the semis,there's stil 90mins of football to play for...
n same goes for chelsea n man u....

letz c 3 epl teams in the semis!!!!
