ARSEnal will say bye bye to Champions League that's all... anyway ARSEnal is such a big, rich and formiable club... I'm sure the Champions League means nothing to them. Even their ARSEnal reserves can beat WC team. :twisted:

"I feel overall we controlled the game. Technically it was a bit strange because it never opened up really, because they were down to ten men and they were always worried not to concede more goals. So it was always played in a controlled way, pace-wise and technically. We had a great pressure on them always."
on Henry's return...
"Of course Thierry is back and it's good because he is quite sharp for someone who has not played for over one month. I feel since one month [ago] this team has taken off, we had a blip at Sheffield United, but overall since five weeks [ago] the team is consistent with results and the way we played. [He is] as sharp as I expected because it was maybe an ideal game for him with eleven against ten, the pace was not too high, we controlled always the game and it was maybe a good way to come back. I planned it to get him back for today if it went well, maybe if all went well at the start, maybe on the bench, but we were so short that I had to start him."
on Henry's fitness...
"He's 100% fit, not 100% match fit. He has worked very hard, fitness-wise, and we made that plan, physically, that he could return to the squad today. I nearly called him back against Sheffield United, because we were short, you know? We had one or two players who just on the morning of the training were short and couldn't travel, and I nearly called him back to Sheffield but I didn't want to rush it. He's in a good frame of mind because he was at the end of his physical potential and mental potential, and he is refreshed now and he worked very hard, you know? Now he comes back hungry and fresh. You look across Europe, all the players who played late in the World Cup have had problems - most of them."
on Henry's impact on the team...
"I think they were happy to have him at the start of the game, but I think overall the team has done very well in the last five, six weeks, you know? I am convinced you will see a great Thierry Henry from now until May."
on bringing off Gilberto...
"Yeah, he is OK, but we need him on Saturday and he had a little groin problem before the game so I took him off."
on Osei Sankofa's red card...
"It looks harsh to me but it's the rule. Unless you change the rule the referee has not much option."

Jaaskelainen strikes back at Benitez comments
Bolton goalkeeper Jussi Jaaskelainen has struck back at Rafael Benitez comments that Bolton's tactics at set-pieces were borderline illegal.
"It's not nice the things that their manager has said," Jaaskelainen said after his side's 3-0 defeat to Liverpool.
"I think he should give us more respect because we have earned it with what we have done. It's easy for them because they can go out and spend millions and millions and millions.
"We don't, we're trying to work hard and work for each other and we have earned a little more respect than they give us."
