Epiphone's QC is generally inconsistent. Sometimes you come across gems, sometimes what you get is literally rubbish. Haha what do you mean by "the guitar is good or not...."? Maybe more suitable to a certain type of genre of music? Hmm..

Well as for worth it or not.. Starter packs are meant to give complete beginners a boost in learning the guitar and it's of course alot cheaper than buying the exact same item separately. However people tend to outgrow their equipment very fast if they are keen on learning.. I suggest investing in a mid/high-end guitar for long term players.

i can play the guitar fairly well... i mainly play acoustic.... i just wanna guitar that can whack wan.... i play relek stuff... indie/pop rock/rock.... maybe invest one multi effect and whack it in..... i think ok lah ah? :lol:

But with 470 you can get other guitars that imo are better deals, like those RGs and stuff. Around 500?

no.. its just that these starter packs are kinda crap.. i'd suggest looking for second hand guitars on luthermusic.com.. the classified ads section.. u can find good deals on great stuff there..

get other Epi LP lah with that money. you could get second hand classic or standard or maybe custom (who knows?) epi lp with your budget.

whats your total budget? for about 400-500 itself for the guitar theres lots of great second hand stuff which you can get. used epi lespauls go for around that price too (the superior standards etc etc models, not the special II one). or they are loads of other stuff besides the epi range
