Epiphone les pauls (please give comments thank you..)

i'm sure you all know gibson les pauls also have holes in them too right?
they all have weight relief holes drilled in them, about 9 in total.

Ain't those for archtops only?

which Edwards guitar was compared to the Epi LP Ultra?

it's only objective if the Edwards feature a similar chambered + thinner body; these features differentiate the Ultra from the rest of the Epi LPs.

holes in Gibson's body- not all models.

df, read properly la, or did you even bother to read the faq url i posted?

its weight relief holes.
ie. drilled into the mahagony body in strategic places to reduce weight.
the carve top is obviously the maple and also is obviously placed on top of the mahagony to cover it.

All Gibson Les Pauls except the custom shop ones have weight relief holes in the mahogany body.

The only exception are the Cloud 9 series which have tone chambers and the class 5 I think.

Unless your thinking the weight relief holes are F-holes on hollowbodies then I think your seriously mistaken.

Everdying, that's what I'm saying all along, ain't it? Is it so hard to understand english? All I'm trying to say is that only carved tops have weight relief holes, flat tops don't, but like Sub said, only selected ones do. Geez...
