Any information to links that prove this model was discontinued in 2008? I've check the serial number hence I could trace the date. I took pictures of the cavities to show that it's not those chipboard fakes that surface every now and then. I'm open to discussion. AFAIK, I can confirm this is not a fake.

Check from? Guitar Dater Project? That's where fakers get their serial numbers from.

Why not write in to Gibson, if you don't believe it's discontinued? Or ask the guys from MLP. Here, I did it for you already.

and it shows "Serial number unrecognized"

I've sold enough epiphones to know that guitar dater project can be unreliable.

In any case, let the experts on mlp decide. I have nothing to hide which is why I specifically took detailed pictures.

Btw, I know this guitar is discontinued. When I don't know.
