Hi! i'm actually a new guitarist and i'm looking to buy an epiphone les paul guitar or an all rounded guitar. Would anyone know where i can find a wide variety of Epiphone les paul guitars besides the shops at peace centre( cos i went there already).
FPaulLes: Don't get the guitars from Swee lee cause it's way too expensive.
is this a personal encounter? i believe swee lee's price to be reasonable pertaining to Epiphone.
nick8292: i'll be @ swee lee bras basah showroom this Friday 10th Aug (after 2.30pm). i'll be more than happy to show/ recommend the Epi LPs in store (i don't work there).
thanks guys will probably check out swee lee bras basah...i checked out Davis but they got a lot of Esp guitars. I really want an epiphone, it's the closest to getting a gibson. By the way are the prices stated on the swee lee website actual prices and do they have all the guitars that they show on the site?
the prices on the website are misleading, the showroom prices and the webby prices are different alot. They might not have all the guitars in stock too
oh really...i had no idea, but how much do these guitars cost? I'm quite tight on a budget. saved up about 550 bucks planning to buy the guitar next week though.
550 is definitely enough to get yourself a good 2nd hand Epiphone Les Paul really. heck, you might even have some spare change to buy a pedal along with it  . however, do read up on the things that you are interested in to avoid being ripped off.
look around, 2nd hand items are everywhere. soft, yahoo auctions, luthermusic classifieds. basically everywhere  .
majority of the Jap copies are mid-priced units ($900+/-). maybe you can save a little more to acquire a deserving model- not saying the EPIs are duds...
Hi again!! I think i've narrowed it down to two guitars, the Epiphone Les Paul 100 or the Les Paul standard. Now i just hope i can get a good price for either one of these guitars. I'm gonna buy it new since it's my first electric guitar.
