It has a 60 neck, SA mid and 81 bridge ...

to my ears, EMGs on an Ibanez DONT work - better to get the fatter sounding non active pups like tone zone

Hehe Seymour JB and DiM Super Distortion is my all time combi. You can never go wrong. Aye or just put in a P-90 la! Solve everything.

yeah used to love Super Dis for long time but I'm more partial to tone zone now....

I got an evo neck & Virtual Vintage Heavy Blues (stack sgl) which surprisingly sounds better than the EVO bridge...

Think I'll sell my dImarzios to my friend ...

I find the 60 rather good for cleans only.. like a jazzy bluesy sound but try using it alone and it sounds really bad - again IMHO.

No explaination for the 81 and 85 if you know what these are you should already know what you're getting if you're getting those.

I've got an Iceman too! I think the default AH1 and 2 pickup config sounds fine though.

And players dont' go for it because, its not the Tonezone.

GREAT pup if you like alnico, a modern slant and that wah sound... has the heaviest chug of every dimarzio I have tried, its insane. Nothing to do with output mind you, but the way its eq-ed.
