Hey guys, i was thinking of changing a few things. but firstly. where can i get those mesh heads for ekits? im looking for a snare and a kick drum module. i mean i know V drums and all that but its abit too ex i was wondering about brands like hart or alexis or even medeli but i heard medeli arent mesh heads. so what are they? basically i need to change them so i can practice gravity blasting. I also understand that, well they dont sell them individually well not that i know off so if anyone does know a solution for me. that would be great.

P.S i am aware of tc_zen selling his v drum bass module but its like 300 i was wondering whether there is another way?

THANKS IN ADVANCE :D

oh and also the compatibility with the yamaha DTX V2 yup yup thats about it. and i also know swee lee sells them individually but at like 500 or something.

Gravity blast can practise with normal snare also what.... Its better that way.. So when u gravity blast on triggered snare it will sound even better.

oh i thought u using normal drums hehe.. I know need the rim , how about u look around ebay for the ones with the rim..

for the snare you could use an acoustic snare and get a ddrum pro trigger than has a rim sensor. check out the webpage ddrum - Acoustic Drums and Electronic Drum Products since 1983 under triggers. they are readily available on ebay but they use xlr jacks so you might have to get a converter so it will fit ur dtxpress.

for mesh heads i would recommend hart dynamics kontrol screen magnum (quite a mouthful) All Hart Kontrol Screen "mesh" Drum Heads they are pretty durable, should be better than the rhythm traveller ones. i got mine from ezimusic. you could email ricky and see if he can bring some in for you.

i bought a 12", 14", 16" and 22" for $295

i think swee lee does sell the roland pads seperately but at insanely high prices. you could try to get some online retailer to bring in roland pads but it might be tough cos of brand new roland stuff should be exported out of the States by them.
