Electronic drum set up cum sound system questions..help!

yo hi ppl...i posted this in drum section but no reply..therefore i try here..

-i'm gettin a roland electronic drum...n some1 giving me a roland 6 channel mixer amp and 2 roland speakers...
so..is there any more things which i nid to get for my E drum set?!

-if i wanna jam along 2gether wif guitar, bass, drum n 2 vocal...is a 6 channel mixer enough?..

-as for the speaker...er...any different?!.. coz there r things like..monitor and loudspeaker which i saw from luthermusic.....n also..do i nid a sub woofer?!

-do i nid a power amp? (which i dunno wat's tat actually..lol)

-if i wanna do recording...is it possible if i link the all instrunment into mixer and from mixer, i link straight to laptop to do recording ( i got no idea how recording actually work though..)...do i nid to buy additional equipment for recording?

ar ha..i still dunno..lol...i haven't get yet..coz i haven't arrange transport to collect...but..mixer got different? coz i only know how to adjust sound..but dunno rest of the function...lol..

to soft: i got the mixer le...model is VX-55...and i also got the 2 speaker..the a 40w speaker(very big..might nid to sell it coz my mum was shocked when she saw it too...lol)...both made in Japan...

Could not find any specs on your mixer. Hmmm... a bit difficult to answer your questions without knowing what the mixer can do.

Anyway, just plug in your drumset and listen if the sound is good.

ya...i couldn't find it online too..lol...perhaps old model...only got 4 knobs leh..lol..volume, bass, treble and effect for each channel...effect got echo n reverb...got a knob for Balance...lol....then for each channel..there's a switch for L.IMP, H.IMP and L.GAIN....
dunno wat's tat..lol...
