Electro-Harmonix

i can't quite recall how much its going for at wmum. i'll check it out later and post the price... unless edder can comment. but roughy ard $160 i THINK.

compared to the TR-2 the pulsar is less "warm", but on the other hand it it much more "clean" sounding, and it preserves the natural sound of your guitar. it also compensates for the perceived drop in level when the effect is engaged (owing to the nature of the effect, trem users usually perceive a drop in level when the effect is engaged). the TR-2 can be modded to compensate for the drop in level though. but i guess its really up to you to conduct your own tremolo shootout to decide which sounds better to your ears.

I prefer the Fulltone SupaTrem over the Pulsar but that's me. The lushness and density of it rocks more than the Pulsar which sounds a little thin to me...

Check out their latest beauty, The Flanger Hoax!!!

All soundclips are played by Gerry Leonard, David Bowie's Reality tour music director. Amazing guitarist with use of effects and taste to match as well. Check out David Bowie's 'Reality' tour DVD and be amazed. No shredding, I promise...

But still my favourite E-H pedal:

Can range from $300 to $400, depending on the dealer.

I found one 2nd hand for $140 before. But I was 20 minutes too late... Sigh...

steady la.. you should be call tremmesto!,,, haha that was a good review man thanks

1.when you mention warmness, are you refering to those 50 60s rockabilly sound like " apache" by shadow.

2. i am going for that audioslave sound.... so i hope it suit my liking

thanks milkmesto!

Seriously, for analog delays, there are only 4 good ones.

1. Toneczar Echoczar
2. EH Deluxe Memory Man
3. Diamond Memory Lane
4. Maxon AD-9

I didnt include Ibanez AD-9 as they are putting cheap chinese delay chips in em now.

Btw, the EH Chorus is about $140++ after discount I think. Not sure if Music Plaza has stock now. But wont hurt to call beez.

Eh, the Echoczar has this switch function between the 2 delay settings when you step on it to change from the left channel settings to the right. It causes a pitch shift upwards or downwards depending the swtich from left to right or vice versa. Amazing lushness and thick. No metallic tones. Most importantly, it's chrome, shiny and has 6 knobs and 6 flip switches and 3 LED lights. What more can you ask for?

We just did a super in-depth review of the pedal on our web-zine: http://www.agingyouth.com/gear/gear_20.htm

Haven't tried the rest though.

However, I'm waiting for this to come in to try... Cannot wait!!!

MoogerFooger MF-104 Analog Delay. Slurp... The reissues comes in 2 formats now. Gotta try those babies out!!!

lol since we're hijacking this thread... i recommend a look at the holy grail plus. really cool stuff, adds some much more control over your reverb.

PS: apologies for hijacking..
