Hi guys, was wondering if you could help me with the problem mentioned above.
I recently got a new pair of studio monitors (equator D5) for recording. I just brought it home 2 days ago and decided to play around with it with just my guitar and pod HD500.
This was my setup: Guitar > Pod HD500 > 2 equators
After switching on everything, I would occasional get electric shocks from my strings while playing or my bridge whenever my elbow accidentally touches it. I went online to read up a little and many people said such shocks were due to ungrounded outlets. For my power outlets, I attached an 4 socket extension into my main household power socket and all my equipment were powered from that extension (2 equators and pod hd500). I was thinking of changing my extension sockets as they looked pretty old and could be the source of this problem.
Any inputs?? Thanks guys.
