Why not just go for a multieffects pedal through a clean amp? Presumably you want various metal tones which may be reliant on various effects. Out of the box, many of these multieffects pedals are set up for over-the-top distortion-effects laden sounds. YMMV ....headwan said:which effect pedal is gd for metal kind of music instead of using preamp?
To m ears, the most appropriate in descending order is: distortion, 2 ODs in series and finally a single OD pedal. An OD pedal into a distortion pedal is a lottery, depending on the pedals, it might sound good, then again, it might sound like mush.which is better overdrive or distortion or using both pedal when use for metal music?
For boxish high gain, go Peavey. Recently I've also played some Fender solidstate amps with good amounts of gain .... you might wanna check these out as well.which practice amp is cheap and value for money( sori tight budget)
so which multi effect is gd enuff?arent stomp box better?into clean amp??????so is not wise to have an amp in dirty sound?
so to say is a lottery to "daisy chain" od and dist pedal in series?
huh peavey??damn shouldnt have sold it to someone.i used to have a peavey transtube amp....damn...sori if ask alot of qn....i need to have near to perfect sound....and just for the record,is the mesa /boogie amp dirty channel,is it aan overdrive kind of sound or dirty,if any1 knows?btw im talking abt the mesa/boogie triple rectifier.(im not buying anw coz i want to have sound near it,maybe?)
