So like uh, how's the SG range that edwards offer?
Gibson les pauls never really got me and I would actually go for an edwards soon, but Gibson SGs really attract me. ;)

hmmm after reading up all these posts i'm wondering...

edwards guitars doesn't sound nor look bad..
infact they seem like a viable option...

but are their neck's slim?
like the 60's slim tapered?

cauz i got a yammie, and its bloody chunky
and the epi lp custom though slimmer isn't that different either...

dun worry, the catalogue is just outside the store & u can view them as long as u want, the boss won't stare @ u for flipping through the pages

Does David allow you to test their Edwards LP model? Most of the time, their Boss is not in a good mood.... totally bad service in my opinion.

edwards does haf a slimmer neck compared to gibson les paul...but it still have tt chunky feel there...anyway...im always thinkin...y do ppl like a slim slim slimmmmm neck on a LP? doesnt it like lose the feel of the LP? jus a personal thought...

Waoh a real nice thread to have......I guess I am part of this exclusive club keke. Bought the last edwards les paul from Davis, never looked back ever since even though I own a few other nice american beauties....the level of craftmanship is very high for a mid price guitar, although it is pity to see it not come with a hardcase to protect this jap beauty. Just stock alone it is already great but add a coil tap and orange drop caps it will turn into seven heaven haha. LOVE IT!

And talking about the edwards lp necks......they are much much nicer to hold and comfortable without the stickiness as compared to the gibson 50's neck profile/finish. Cause i have a gibson sg special with the 50's neck that is really chunky......a nice neck with nice fat tone but not suitable for players with small hands imo.

Hi, this is somewhat OT but I'm looking to get an Edwards 335 soon. Any opinions on this? If anyone on SOFT owns it, would you be willing to let me try it out (at your place/terms/conditions of course) just so that I can know how it plays/feels? I'm somewhat worried about buying a guitar unseen.

The Edwards necks are slimmer in terms of fingerboard widths but quite chunky when it comes to thickness. According to some people on TGP, the necks are somewhat modelled after the guitars "copied".
