Edwards Les Paul Club

Shredcow its been a long time since you show us the progress of your USACG.

PinkSpId3r, yes... the neck just came in today... its been a long journey, I'll post up somethings so well.. maybe what I went thru, we can learn from it.

I really like the 27 fretter but a few gripes... OFR (at least its black) I don't like, will swap for gotoh... and I don't know how thick is their finishing... I also dislike high gloss finishes. Weird huh.

as evident in ur Sabre :) total matte finish..

I prefer the Quilt Maple, but I dunnoe if they have Goldtop without P90s pickups.. subversion where are you?

Wow thats long..hope to see some pics soon. it will definetly be an eye opener for alot of ppl.

which 27fretter are you interested in? the E-CY-130D/R spots a extra thin flat neck profile whereas the E-CY-155CTM is just normal? and it has gold hardware which you dislike :)

I prefer the less outrageous one. No gold hardware for me, unless its real gold - it just tarnishes too fast. And the totally zhng-ed one, I just don't get the "play me!" vibe - too showroom style, you know?

I wouldn't get a guitar with someone's name on it... its just not me and I can't understand it... turns me off.

However, Kiko's (the above mentioned artiste) ESP 27 fret is FRIGGIN INSANE lah... the price. Just the price.

hey i went down myself and asked.. was just two weeks ago. they weren't busy at that time, too

i think it could be an error by the woman..

was quite sad really cause the current ibanezes don't really appeal to me

lol Dan i totally understand. but i like the inlays. neither will i want someone's name on my guitar.

The price listed on the website is not the actual price. google will tell you alot of websites offer at a much lower price..ishibashi for instance.

Good Thread

At last someone else has discovered Edwards quality. I have the John Sykes model and the Jimmy Page model which is just f****** awesome.
Been playing 25 years and I have had a roomful of Les Pauls. Some good, some bad, some very average but Edwards is right up there with anything Gibson has produced in years and they are half the weight and price.

Davis can be a pain sometimes. There is a girl there who is smart and switched on but not around much, the rest of the staff can be "difficult" esp old man Davis himself.
You can always order direct from Edwards website....

i'm gassing for an lp...but the one thing putting me off getting one is the chunky neck...i like slim necks lah

any edwards lp recommendations that fit my needs?

i think any edwards lp will suit ur need here...edwards LP haf a slimmer version of neck compare to gibby...but yet nt losin its feel...check out sub's review of his edwards goldtop LP in the gutiar review section...

Edwards totally rocks.

haha. i jus got my first edwards from a fellow softie. ben.

thanks alot ben. I will take good care of it. no worries. =)

I got the edwards explorer. setneck. Sd59 and jb in stock. Mahogany body. mahogany neck with rosewood fretboard.

The craftsmanship is amazing! gotoh hardware.

I love the feel of the guitar. beatiful grain and graet sound.

the tone. I was surprised with how versatile the guitar is. I cldnt stop playing it the whole night. very comfortable neck. no offence to epi players. but i tried the epi explorer. and this is top notch right up there. while epi IMO. is nothing close.

worth every buck i paid. furthermore i got it at a good price.

haha

anw i would reccomend edwards guitars to softies. Its good shit.

cool..u finally decide wat guitar to buy man..hahaha...great choice u made...hope u enjoy the edwards..and welcome to the family..haha

Woah I just started the thread & so many replies/enquiries. Keep them coming in.

I am planning on an SG liao.. The walnut finished, good to have a variation of Edwards product.. We should have a gathering session to try out each other's axe - ItAcHi raped my custom & I raped his Standard.

Anyone else wanna try?
