I came across a tribute band (New Gig in town) kinda lame ah the name, that covers songs from The Eagles. They are good. It a band that i dun mind paying to watching them play.

Why is it that when we talk about The Eagles, we think Hotel California? They are very well known for the way they have given country rock, such upbeat changes, think Get Over It and such... Power! Plus, all of them can SING!

in my years of playing in clubs, it's one of the most requested songs by the crowd and honestly i don't like this song...people will wait for the end part of the song (yup, all eyes will be on me) to scrutinize my guitar solo and sometimes if i screwed-up they'll say i'm lousy but if i do ok, they'll pat on my back and say i solo like the original...(one guy ever gave me US$6 tips)...ha ha

Yup agree!! Life in the fast lane, Tequila Sunrise, Girl of yesterday.. lots and lots of Eagles songs are nice.. Hotel California is just over played and over rated.. but yet still so nice.. The Eagles is the band that inspired me to start playing the guitar since the very 1st time i heard Hotel California at the age of 7. Thanks to my father.. hes a eagles fan too lol..~
