Dunlop Ergo Straplocks???

Hey guys, I literally just got back home and I bought a pair of Dunlop Ergo Straplocks, the cheap plastic ones to tie me over till I save enough for the Ernie Ball ones, and the stupid problem is, the darn thing won't even fit through the WHOLE strap button, half of it can't fit in, the part which locks the strap button, so all that's left on the strap is.... the mechanism before it locks, and it looks seriously ridiculous... help?

Any pictures? Hmm, use a penknife or some sort of file to make the hole bigger?

i own the Ergoloks. they don't fit all strap buttons... eg: PRS

i got the older ones that are circular shaped rather than pick shaped.
works fine on my gibsons.
