Dunlop dc brick

anyone using it now? any problems tt surfaced while rocking out? still on your pedalboard ? hum/noise issues? worth the money?

As I recall, it does not have isolated outputs. Which makes it essentially bigger and less powerful than the 1-Spot. As to which is quieter, I have not had the experience.

The DC brick puts out 1000mA of current. The 1-Spot puts out 1700mA. Which means you can power more 9V pedals with the 1-Spot. The DC brick has an advantage in versatality in that has 18V powering capabilities too. But for that amount of space it takes up, you might as well get a power supply with isolated outputs.

I really haven't had that much experience with power supplies though, so this is based on theory.

Edit:
Here's a really nice comparison chart of many known power supplies.

Apparently it says the DC brick only provides 375mA max, which is different from stated on the dunlop website, but I wouldn't be surprised.

Yeap, thats true. Add in the 18v outputs to add up to 1000mA.

great resource u have there blueark, thx a bunch!

I chanced upon it while looking for a power supply that provides both 9V DC and 9V AC. My eyes popped out to find such a comprehensive table 8O

Unfortunately doesn't look like there's an easy solution for my problem.

DIY? no offence man, but wad if i fry my pedals? i guess i can DIY them back too right?

btw, he's not making power supplies anytime soon, he's concentrating on dirt pedals....(so u dun have to keep repeating tt u dun make power supplies now :) )
